彼得·奎爾（克里斯·帕拉特 Chris Pratt 飾）是一名從小被劫持到外太空的地球人，在義父勇度（邁克爾·魯克 Michael Rooker 飾）的培養下成了一個終極混混，自稱“星爵” 。一次行動中他偷了一塊神秘球體，便成為了賞金獵人火箭浣熊（布萊德利·庫珀 B radl ey Cooper 配音）、樹人格魯特（范·迪塞爾 Vin Diesel 配音）的綁架目標，而神秘的卡魔拉（佐伊·索爾達娜 Zoe Saldana 飾）也對神秘球體勢在必得 。經過笑料百出的坎坷遭遇，星爵被迫和這三人，以及復仇心切的“毀滅者”德拉克斯（戴夫·巴蒂斯塔 Dave Batista 飾）組成小分隊逃避“指控者”羅南（李·佩斯 Lee Pace 飾）的追殺 。然而這個神秘球體擁有無窮的力量，小分隊必須團結一致對付羅南，才有可能解救整個銀河系，銀河護衛隊由此誕生 。

Blue Swede - Hooked on a Feeling
Blue Swede，來自瑞典的搖滾樂隊 ?！禜ooked on a Feeling》是一首典型的流行搖滾樂，首版制于1968年，1969年打入了Billboard的HOT100 。《銀河護衛隊》中的版本，是他們錄制于1974年的翻唱版，很有硬搖滾混搭迪斯科的味道，算是那個年代的代表曲風和曲目 。
